Merchant Quick Start Guide

SoyCap.io enables online businesses to run blockchain-powered affiliate campaigns and pay affiliate rewards in USDC with simple pay-as-you-go pricing with no setup, monthly or total sales volume fees.

There is a quick overview on how to start using SoyCap.io to run your affiliate campaigns:

  1. Login with Your Google Account

Access the SoyCap.io dashboard by logging in with your Google Account for a secure and easy start.

  2. Create Your First Merchant

A merchant in SoyCap.io represents the brand or product you’re promoting—whether it’s a SaaS product, an eBook, a membership site, an online store, or any other digital offering. Learn how to create your first merchant.

  3. Connect Your Solana Wallet

SoyCap.io runs on the Solana blockchain, ensuring fast, secure, and low-cost transactions between you and your affiliates. To create and manage affiliate campaigns, you’ll need a Solana wallet with a positive SOL balance. For the best experience, we recommend using Phantom Wallet. To install and start using Phantom, check out this Phantom Wallet Quick Start Guide.

  4. Create Your First Affiliate Campaign

Set up your first affiliate campaign in a few clicks and sign the transaction with Phantom Wallet (we recommend to create a separate Phantom Wallet for each new merchant). Behind the scenes, SoyCap.io creates a secure rewards pool on Solana blockchain for each campaign, where you deposit USDC to fund future affiliate reward payouts.

  5. Share Affiliate Campaign Sign-Up Page

Share the Affiliate Campaign Sign-Up Page with your audience so they can join the campaign. After signing up, affiliates receive a unique referral link, which they can share with their audience to drive traffic and conversions to your site.

  6. Setup Affiliate Attribution

Affiliate attribution is the process of tracking which affiliate referral link brought in each customer. This allows you to reward affiliates accurately and pay rewards in USDC using Solana blockchain. Engage your tech team to implement this step and follow the Affiliate Attribution Setup Guide.

  7. Register a Conversion

A conversion is an action that generates revenue or a positive outcome for your business, such as a product subscription or a sale. When a customer referred by a SoyCap.io affiliate completes a conversion on your merchant site, you should register this conversion event in SoyCap.io to track which affiliate will get a reward. While you can do this manually on SoyCap.io Dashboard, it’s recommended to automate the conversion registration based on user affiliate attribution using SoyCap.io API.

  8. Distribute Affiliate Reward

After registering a conversion, you can distribute affiliate rewards either instantly or on a scheduled basis. Rewards can be managed manually through the SoyCap.io dashboard or automated via the SoyCap.io API, giving you full control over distribution. A straightforward payout fee applies to each reward, deducted from the campaign rewards pool at the time of distribution. For details, explore SoyCap.io’s pay-as-you-go pricing.

  9. Monitor Campaign Performance

Track your campaigns performance using SoyCap.io dashboard, or use external analytics tools like Google Analytics for more detailed campaign performance tracking.
